Also, Roddy has a new gf? hmm... interesting. For those who weren't there Roddy dedicated the neil young song (look at the title) to "a special someone in the audience" and looked all floaty-eyed and luved-up. hehe

Well the fact that the word "love" is in the title says something. Hopefully he can either pull off romantic lyrics, either that or he'll do a "One I Love"/"Every Breath You Take" thing and be ironic and sinister.

What was "Love Steals..." like then?

I totally forgot about the cover song until right now!

I must've been a little drunker than I thought.

oh and your setlist is wrong.

the 3rd and 4th songs on it should be the other way around.

Can't believe no one took a Dictaphone with them! :frown:

I was going to take my handy cam with me. But i didn't know if i'd get past security with it. it's a bit more expensive than a dictaphone so it getting lost or confiscated or whatever isn't an option. would've been cool if i'd had the balls.

love songs are generic shite. the beatles did them well but that was then and its beendone to death since. personally i'd sooner listen to a song about post-modernism or some other untouched apon and preferably pretentious subject, rock n roll is such a boring and conservative medium. i mean all you need to do is play your gigs on the floor instead of the stage to be considered revolutionary (like lightning bolt).

I thought it was a good gig, but opening with a new song was a bit weird. The cover was good though. And I bought a T-shirt from Colin.
