aw man, Sparta are fantastic! I was just about to mention them in the best albums of this year as, well, it (Porcelain) is pretty damn good. Allthough i do think their old one (Wiretap Scars) is better. One of my favorite bands at the minute for sure.

As for being better than The Mars Volta?.... hmmmmm... tough one, but I'll go with yes for now.

um, seen em twice, once in 02 and once in 03. both sets were fairly unmemorable, but i didnt hate them. i downloaded the album and listened to it once. it wasnt bad. it just wasnt that interesting. Mars Volta are better.
